Afams Ltd was founded in 2021 by Moses W. Mwombe in Nairobi, Kenya — with a clear and urgent mission: to make urban food production accessible to every household, school, restaurant, and office, regardless of land, water, or expertise.
We watched cities grow faster than their food systems. We watched urban Kenyans — and urban people everywhere — disconnected from the food they eat. We decided to build the bridge. Not with expensive technology. Not with complexity. With a bag.
The FarmBag is that bridge. It folds flat. It ships anywhere. It grows anything. It waters itself. And now — with NutriPort™, the Grow Cube™, and the AquaFarmBag — it is growing into something that will one day feed people on Mars.
